Among the scents of broom, pittosporum, and sea salt, and the colors that mark each season, the bay opens up with its beaches to a sea that blends its thousand shades with those of the limestone cliffs and the imposing promontory above.

The beach, formed by a landslide that broke away from Monte Conero long ago, shines with the white pebbles of Conero stone, smoothed by the waves. The water is crystal clear, perfect for diving to observe the seabed and its inhabitants, like small fish, anemones, sea urchins, and moscioli.

In our small beach resort, we offer not only the rental of deck chairs and umbrellas but also canoes and SUPs for adventurous days at sea exploring the bays of the Riviera del Conero. It’s also accessible for disabled guests.

The bar is open from morning to evening for breakfast, a quick snack, coffee, or an aperitif. The restaurant offers excellent traditional dishes for both lunch and dinner.

The venture started by Emilia in Portonovo has truly transformed the landscape of the area, turning what was once a marshy and unwelcoming place into a region of natural beauty, while also reshaping the lives of Emilia’s family and the local community. The restaurant has been naturally passed down from mother to daughter, from Emilia to Maria Luisa, known as Marisa, the youngest daughter, always together in the kitchen and the dining area. Today, the culinary tradition continues with Chef Lorenzo Focante, while Marisa’s family welcomes guests and visitors: her daughter Federica handles the management and the dining area; Marisa’s husband, Franco, waits tables and entertains guests with memories, stories, and presents of flowers or fruit; their son Edoardo, besides working in the restaurant, manages the beach.
